Bulldogs

Appearance and Body Parts

Bulldogs have a very distinctive look. They are short and have large shoulders, with small tails and round muzzles.

Head Ears Body Legs Tail
Easy to recognize, like most dog heads. Despite having a relatively short muzzle, it's rather wide and round. Their top eyebrows are large. Akin to dane/russel ears, but flop to the side. While it might just seem like a regular plump belly, it's actually really big and round at the neck. This isn't really that noticeable until you try to pose them; then it's really accentuated. Not as short as a dachie, but still quite short. Also has really thick shoulders - sorta question-mark-shaped - so they look weird on thin bodies. Short and thin.

Markings

Bulldogs can pass on two different markings in one slot - a moustache, and a chest patch. The moustache is gray by default and uses marking slot 5 so it cannot mutate (it can only change color in mixies, often becoming a hidden marking). The chest patch is always white, and looks similar to a chihuahua's.

Adoption Center Variants

Most of this info here is sourced from Intron Exon, with my own screenshots.

Bulldogs almost always wear a shirt when in the adoption center. Whether or not they have a chest patch varies, even when wearing a shirt. This means it's hard to know if they have one.

The sandy-browed variant is always male, always lacks a chest patch, and comes in a pink sweater.
